Dr. Anand Deshpande
Dr. Deshpande is the Founder, Chairman and Managing Director of Persistent Systems. He earned a Bachelor's Degree (Hons.) in Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur in 1984. He also earned a Doctorate in Computer Science from the Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana (USA) in 1989. He worked at Hewlett-Packard Laboratories as a Member of the technical staff in Palo Alto, California from 1989 to 1990 and has been a member of the board of Persistent Systems since he founded the company in 1990.

Anirudh Dewani
Anirudh Dewani is with Google Relations team since April 2008. His main interests are Google Apps, Google App Engine, Google APIs, Java, J2EE, AJAX and web toolkits like GWT, Dojo etc. Previously he has been working on Enterprise Java and middleware/integration technologies like JMS, Web services, XML-RPC as well as open source frameworks like Spring and Hibernate. He has also been involved with Unisys on platform engineering for a 4GL.

Rajdeep Dua
Rajdeep Dua is with Google Developer Relations team working on OpenSocial Advocacy. He has around 10 years of experience in middle ware, web services and Integration space. Before joining Google he was leading development effort for CSF: Connected Services Framework Initiative in Microsoft India. He has also been associated with JBoss JMS open source development in the past. Rajdeep holds an MBA from IIM Lucknow, India.

Sidda Eraiah, Director of Management Services at Kaazing

Sidda Eraiah has over 17 years experience in software development and has worked extensively on creation of development tools for Java EE, BPM and SOA technologies. Prior to joining Kaazing, Sidda worked as a lead developer at Oracle for 12 years developing successful products for Enterprise Applications development at Oracle: Oracle BPM Suite, Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle ADF, JDeveloper, and Oracle Forms.

Sidda Eraiah received Bachelors degree in Computer Science and Engineering from University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering (Bangalore University) and an MBA in Strategic Management from California State University.

Nik Trevallyn-Jones is a consultant for the Spring Australasian division. Nik has been working in the IT industry for over 20 years. During that time has has worked with large corporations, government departments, Telcos, Wall Street institutions, small businesses, and start-ups. Nik has been involved in projects across a wide range of industries and problem spaces including Telecoms, Banking, process control, 4GLs, network management, manufacturing, internet business, IT, and wholesale. Prior to SpringSource, Nik has worked in software development, software architecture, education, consulting, problem resolution, technical pre-sales, and even documentation. In these various roles, Nik has specialised in prototyping, system architecture, writing and presenting courses, and implementing large scale systems including front, middle and back-end tiers using C++, Java, Relational and Object Databases, and XML/XSLT. Nik has also has specific experience with large-scale and high-performance database problems involving Object Databases.

Ramesh Loganathan is presently Vice President (Products) and Managing Director of Progress Software in India, responsible for leading the product development at the India Development center. Prior to taking the above position, Ramesh was Vice President of Middleware Technologies at Pramati, responsible for driving the product direction and the Technology Consulting business. Ramesh has been with pramati since 2000, heading Product Engineering until 2004, and then helped setup the team (for Progress Software) that built the Sonic Workbench on Eclipse, eventually transitioned to Progress Software- India. Ramesh is an accomplished Technologist and evangelist regularly speaking at workshops and seminars in India. Has been active in Tech fora, JCP and SPEC organizations. Member of several Standards Expert groups including J2EE 1.3. Co-founded and, and organizes BarCamps and Startup events.

Vijaya Machavolu
Vijaya Machavolu is a Developer Programs Engineer at Google, working on the OpenSocial APIs. Before that she worked as a software engineer, developing authentication management products at Imprivata Inc. She holds a Masters degree in Computer Science from Northeastern Univeristy, Boston.

Dr. Ganesh Natarajan is Chairman of NASSCOM, India’s leading association for IT and Business Process Outsourcing. He is also the Global CEO of Zensar Technologies Limited, a Global firm that transforms Technology and Processes for Fortune 500 companies. An alumnus of IIT Bombay and the Harvard Business School, Ganesh is a fellow of the Computer Society of India and chairs the Outsourcing Forum of the Confederation of Indian Industries in Western India. He is a member of the Board of Governors of NITIE Mumbai. Ganesh is the author of three McGraw Hill Books on Business Process Reengineering and Knowledge Management and recent publications on the IT industry and inspired leadership. He was recognized by Ernst & Young for exceptional entrepreneurship and has won many awards for outstanding leadership.

Harshad is the founder of Rightrix Solutions and also edits He is the author of 3 books on Java technology and several articles.

Harshad Oak has a master's degree in computer management from Symbiosis, India, and is a Sun Certified Java Programmer and a Sun Certified Web Component Developer. Before founding Rightrix Solutions, Harshad was part of several J2EE projects at i-flex Solutions and Cognizant Technology Solutions.

For his contributions to technology and the developer community, he has been recognized as an Oracle ACE Director and a Sun Java Champion.
